The LeaseTransfer website (leasetransfer.ch) is a classified ads platform allowing private individuals or professionals willing to assign a car lease to post ads on the website.

The present general conditions of use (“GCU” hereinafter) determine the use of the website and the posting of ads on the website.
The practicable GCU of a particular classified ad are those in effect at the date when the classified ad is transmitted to LeaseTransfer.ch, on the version displayed on the website at that date. When you post your classified ad you will be invited to agree with the GCU. The agreement with the GCU is a required condition for you to be able to post your classified ad.
LeaseTransfer reserves itself the right to modify the GCU at any time, at its discretion.
- Advertisers
This website is dedicated to natural persons as well as companies and firms housed or based in Switzerland.
In order to post an ad on the website, you have to create a user’s account on the website. Creating a user’s account is free and mandatory.
- Ads
3.1 Free ads
The website allows private individuals (nonprofessionals) to post a free ad on the website. This opportunity is limited to one free ad per user’s account. It is not possible for one user to post more than one free ad at the same time.
The free ads are visible online for 30 days.
3.2 Ads with costs for private individuals
The website offers several formulas for ads with costs destined to private individuals. The formulas for ads with costs differ on their respective visibility criteria and on their length of broadcast. Please see the price list for an indication of prices and the available options for the broadcasting of ads with costs.
3.3 Ads with costs for professionals
For professionals, the website offers formulas allowing the broadcast of several simultaneous ads. Each formula includes several spots that can contain one ad each. It is possible to delete an ad and reintroduce a new one on the same spot during the whole validity period. Our made to measure, without subscription professional formula is available starting from three simultaneous ads. Our made to measure professional formula with yearly subscription is available starting from ten simultaneous ads. Please see the price table (link) for information on the price and available options for formulas destined to professionals.
3.4 Options
A list of options is available and adjustable to every ad. An option with charge is subscribed for one ad only. It is not possible to transfer the benefit of an option with charge from one ad to another. For private individuals, every option with charge can be subscribed when the ad is posted, when it is broadcast or when it is renewed. For professionals, every option with charge can be subscribed when the ad is uploaded, when it is broadcast or when it is renewed. It is possible to subscribe for several options with charge for the same ad, simultaneously or not. Deleting the ad automatically causes the deletion of the options linked to the ad. Subscribing to an option with charge does not extend the length of the ad.
3.5 Contents of the ads
An ad can only be about one single vehicle. It is forbidden to offer more than one vehicle in the same ad. Once the ad is uploaded, the advertiser cannot modify the type of vehicle, the brand, the model, the version and the year.
Inside the ads, it is forbidden to insert keywords not corresponding to the features of the vehicle offered (his brand in particular) or its lease.
Professionals can delete and reinsert a new ad subject to room availability in an unlimited way for the whole duration of validity of the subscribed formula.
The ad is broadcast under the advertiser’s exclusive responsibility. The advertiser guarantees his authorization to broadcast the ad. The advertiser guarantees that the content of every ad transmitted to the website is strictly conform to the truth, and that it does not include any inexact of misleading information.
LeaseTransfer does not proceed to any control on the content the ads posted on the website, and declines any responsibility regarding that. It is up to the website user to check the information contained in the ad with the advertiser.
LeaseTransfer reserves the right to delete with an immediate effect and without compensation for the advertiser any ad which content would be inexact or would contravene the present GCU, the legal dispositions or regulations in effect, or the good moral standards.
- Credit purchase
You can purchase credits only from your user’s account.
Every advertiser logged in to his user’s account can, from the “My Credits” tab, subscribe to a credits purchase offer. The credits purchased allow the user to insert ads et subscribe to paying offer(s). The credits are linked to the user’s account from which they were purchased and cannot be transferred to another user’s account. You may use your credits as long as your user’s account is active.
The deletion of a user’s account leads to the deletion of credits linked to this account.
1 credit = 1 CHF (Swiss Franc)
From 100 CHF (Swiss Francs), you will benefit from 10% additional credits offered immediately.
- Price and payment
The ad prices are shown in Swiss Francs. They include the VAT (Value Added Tax). The payments for ads will be made before broadcast with the payment methods available on the website.
LeaseTransfer reserves the right to modify the ad prices without prior notice, at its discretion.
Paying for the ads can be made with different payment methods: PostFinance Card, PostFinance E-Finance, Twint, Visa, Mastercard, American Express. The payment is made by way of a secured platform depending on the SSL system (Secure Socket Layers). LeaseTransfer may accept other types of credit cards, at its discretion but without obligation.
All credit card holders are subject to validation and authorization by the bank issuing the credit card. If the bank issuing the credit card refuses the payment, LeaseTransfer will not broadcast the ad concerned. It will be up to you to directly contact the bank in order to solve the problem.
LeaseTransfer may accept other payment methods like PayPal and bank transfers, at its discretion and with no obligation.
In the case of a payment with PayPal, the uploading occurs after the authorization and validation made by the bank issuing the credit card, or after the cashing is confirmed by PayPal. In the case of a bank transfer, the uploading of the ad occurs after the payment is received by LeaseTransfer.
A payment confirmation email is sent to the advertiser.
The period of validity of the ad starts as soon as it is uploaded. No refund is possible after the uploading.
- Limitations of responsibility
LeaseTransfer declines any responsibility for the contents of ads posted on the website, more particularly on the data related to vehicles and the leases described in the ads. The advertiser indemnifies LeaseTransfer for any compensations (including legal fees) LeaseTransfer may suffer by the action of a third party as a result of the content of an ad posted by the advertiser.
LeaseTransfer does not give any advice or recommendations concerning the opportunity to assign or repurchase a car lease with the conditions defined in the ads. It is up to any individual interested in the repurchase of a lease on the basis of an ad posted on this website to take up the information and advice with the competent people or institutions.
Despite the careful writing of this website, it may contain mistaken or incomplete information. LeaseTransfer does not give any guarantees on the exhaustiveness, the exact nature or the current state of information present on the website.
LeaseTransfer declines any responsibility for any direct or indirect harm that could result from an interruption of the website, for any bug occurrences hindering the browsing of the website or for any other technical problems.
LeaseTransfer declines all responsibility concerning the contents of outer websites accessible from the website, or leading to the website through hypertext links. LeaseTransfer does not have any control on these external websites.
LeaseTransfer is a third party to correspondence and relationships between advertisers and users, and therefore excludes any responsibility in this regard.
- Personal data and confidentiality policy
7.1 Collect, processing, modification and deletion of personal data
When you create a user’s account on the website, you are asked to provide details about yourself, such as your surname, first name, date of birth, your home address, your email address, your phone number and your credit card information. You commit yourself to give us exact and complete information.
LeaseTransfer pledges to treat your credit card information confidentially. LeaseTransfer can nonetheless convey your information to service providers assisting it within the framework of the website utilization (for the management of emails, the processing of payments, or for hosting servers for example).
LeaseTransfer uses the PostFinance Checkout solution for payment processing. The PostFinance Checkout solution is PCI DSS certified. Therefore, PostFinance only works with PCI-certified partners in order to meet the relevant requirements, both in Switzerland and abroad. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) includes the permanent protection of the data stored on PostFinance Checkout, which also includes annual audits. Your data will be processed by PostFinance according to the general data protection declaration.
You acknowledge and agree that your data will be stored encrypted by the software provider Wallee SA, Winterthur, in the data cloud of Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg (a subsidiary of Amazon Web Services Inc., USA) on their servers in Ireland and verified by the Web Application Firewall (WAF) of Cloudflare Inc. In order to check the data for malware, it must be decrypted by the WAF for a short period of time. This is a mandatory PCI requirement for data protection. In other countries, the data decrypted during the WAF verification process is no longer subject to the Swiss Data Protection Act or banking secrecy, but to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or other applicable legal regulations.
Moreover, LeaseTransfer reserves the right to convey your contact details to partners named on the website.
We retain your information in our servers for as long as your account exists.
We will use your contact data and credit card information to process the requests for broadcasting ads you will send us via the website.
We will use your contact data to send you information about our services or to inform you of any modification brought to the present GCU. We are allowed to use your contact data only for our partners. You can refuse the promotional emails by unsubscribing; to do so just click on the link at the bottom of our emails.
At any time, you can access the personal data appearing in your user’s account and make corrections or modifications. You are also able to delete this data by requesting the closing of your account. Any request related to the access, correction or deletion of data must be sent to the following email address:
7.2 Cookies
When you visit our website, we collect information (journaling data) like your type of internet browser, the IP address used to connect to the website, the date of visit, the last page visited, or the actions you have made. Cookies are small text files stored on the hard drive of your computer or another device (tablet, smartphone, etc.…). - Account suspension / Account deletion
At all times, LeaseTransfer has the right to suspend or delete a user’s account and to refuse any current or future use of its services in case the user fails to respect the present GCU.
- Applicable law
The present GCU are governed by the Swiss law.
The courthouses of Geneva, Switzerland are exclusively competent to know of any litigation that may arise relating to the conditions of use of this website.
